Olympic HandballSummer Olympics - Paris Olympic 2024

Handball, a dynamic and high-paced team sport, has been an integral part of the Olympic Games since its debut in 1936. With two teams of seven players each, the objective is to score goals by throwing a ball into the opponent's goal, creating an electrifying Olympic spectacle over the years.

Notable nations in Olympic Handball history include the former Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union, and more recently, France and Denmark. These countries consistently field robust teams, demonstrating their skill, teamwork, and strategic prowess on the Olympic stage.

France and Denmark have emerged as dominant forces in recent Olympic Games, clinching multiple medals in both men's and women's events. The fluid and strategic play has turned Olympic Handball into a thrilling and unpredictable competition.

As the Olympic Handball tournaments unfold, teams from various nations fiercely compete for supremacy. The combination of agility, strength, and teamwork intensifies the matches, making handball a captivating spectacle at the Olympic Games.

For the Paris 2024 Summer Games, the women's and men's handball tournaments will run from July 25 to August 11. Preliminary matches will be held at Paris Sud 6 Arena for qualifications, with the final phases taking place at Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille.
