T20 World Cup

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 will be the ninth T20 World Cup, a biennial Twenty20 International tournament contested by men's national teams and organized by the International Cricket Council. It is scheduled to be hosted by the West Indies and the United States from June 1 to June 29, 2024. This will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to have matches played in the United States. England are the defending champions, having defeated Pakistan in the final of the previous edition.

The tournament will feature 20 teams, up from 16 teams at the 2022 tournament. Apart from the two hosts, the top eight teams from the previous tournament as well as the next two teams in the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings automatically qualified. The remaining eight teams were determined during regional qualifications. This is the first time Canada; Uganda and the USA have qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024.
