Bellerive Oval is a cricket and Australian rules football ground located in Bellerive, a suburb on the eastern shore of Hobart, Tasmania. It is the only venue in Tasmania which hosts international cricket matches and has a spectator capacity of 19,500.
The Scottish cricket team represents the country of Scotland. They play their home matches at The Grange, Edinburgh, as well as at several other venues.
In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Scotland and other ICC members after 1 January 2019 are full T20Is.
The national team is preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The team will compete in Group B, sharing the stage with cricketing powerhouses like England and Australia. The Scottish team's first match will be a historic T20 World Cup 2024 clash with England on June 4 at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
