The Czechia national football team, recognized by FIFA and UEFA as the successor to Czechoslovakia, boasts a rich Euro Championship history, participating in ten editions since 1996, with an upcoming eighth appearance in Euro 2024. As Czechoslovakia, they clinched the European title in 1976, while the Czechia Euro Cup side has consistently qualified for every Euro Championship, except the 2000 edition, where they reached the runner-up spot in 1996, facing Germany.

Their Euro Cup journey kicked off in the UEFA Euro Cup 1996 qualifiers, marked by a dominating 6–1 victory over Malta. Czechia topped Group 5, besting favourites the Netherlands. Despite a 2–0 loss to Germany in the opening game, they progressed to the final at Wembley Stadium, ultimately losing 2–1 to Germany.

Qualifying for Euro Cup 2000, Czechia dominated their group games but faced elimination after losses to the Netherlands and France in the finals. A redeeming 2–0 win against Denmark marked their final group game.

In Euro Cup 2008 qualifiers, Czechia topped their group, yet faced disappointment in the finals, losing 3–2 to Turkey after leading 2–0 past the hour mark. Under Michal Bílek, Euro 2012 qualification included a dramatic win against Lithuania, securing a play-off spot. Czechia triumphed over Montenegro, securing a 3–0 aggregate victory.

Pavel Vrba took charge in 2014, leading Czechia to Euro Cup 2016 with an impressive qualifying campaign. However, their Euro Cup 2016 performance fell short, earning just one point in the group stage. Qualifying for Euro Cup 2021, Czechia finished second in Group A, securing a memorable home victory against England but facing defeats on the road. In the finals, they find themselves in Group D, facing familiar foes: the England Euro Cup side, the Croatia Euro Cup side, and the Scotland Euro Cup team.

Despite star striker Patrik Schick's absence in Euro 2024 qualifiers, the Czechia Euro Cup team navigated a challenging campaign, securing a crucial 3–0 win over Moldova on the final day to claim the second spot in their group and qualify for Euro 2024.
