Albania secured berths in the UEFA European Championship twice, in 2016 and Euro 2024, earning direct qualifications by clinching top-two positions in their respective qualifying groups. The Euro Cup 2016 marked Albania's inaugural presence in a major tournament, showcasing a historic campaign where they secured a third-place finish in their group with three points, notably achieved through a 1-0 victory over Romania.
